We are currently in Peru in the beautiful city of Lima. In the last few months we have:
- visited the wildlife-rich Peninsula Valdez where we cozied up to elephant seals, swam with southern right whales and got our camcorder attacked by a curious penguin - witnessed the gorgeous Torres del Paine at sunrise and sunset - watced chunks of ice break off and crash into the water below at the Moreno Glacier - drove the beautiful Carretera Austral in Chile and caught our first trout - explored the island of Chiloe - driven through one of the driest areas in the world (Atacama Desert) - got buzzed off of Chile and Peru's Pisco Sour - walked along one of the highest qeyser fields in the world where we slept at -15 degrees, had our radiator freeze and got a bad case of altitude sickness - survived (barely) driving the southwest circuit in Bolivia, drove for two days at 4000m without reverse gear -suffered a wheel bearing failure that left us stranded for two days in Bolivia - had a much needed blessing performed on our van in Copacabana - tackled the famous Machu Pichu site along with a thousand other tourists -upgraded to Tamron lenses -created an ad billboard where your company is invited to advertise
and much more! Our latest Blogs: Peru, Bolivia, Patagonia and Chile
